Weather report for the UK

Headline:
Western areas, mostly dry, sunny spells. Showers in the east.

Today:
Any rain in the far southeast will soon clear, then all areas will have sunny spells. Most western and southern areas should be dry, but eastern areas will have sharp showers blown through on brisk northwesterly winds.

Tonight:
Scattered showers in the east will die out, then most places will be dry with long clear periods. It will be cooler and fresher with northwesterly winds easing.

Monday:
Most places will be dry, and will start sunny. However, some patchy cloud will develop. It will feel warm in sunshine and light winds.
